Fresno State Farm Tour Field Trip coming on Friday, September 23rd
This Field Trip to the Fresno State Farm will be a wonderful educational experience geared for students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
Please sign up at Mountain Home School by Friday, September 16th.
Fresno State has a very strict policy that we need to follow. Please read the following carefully.
*No Children under the age of five years can attend a farm tour. The university has decided that children under the age of five are a safety risk! No strollers are allowed on property!
*Parents are required to park only in the designated farm parking and purchase parking permits to park on campus.
*Students are asked to adhere to the following rules:
-No climbing on or putting heads through fences
-No feeding animals
-No running
-Absolutely No petting, unless instructed to do so by the tour guide
-No throwing anything at any time
-No sandals, visitors MUST wear closed-toe shoes
Cost: $2.oo for each student attending farm tour
Please pay in advanced to Melissa. Parent chaperones are free.
Additional costs will be parking permits ($3.00 required) and ice cream (optional).
Schedule for the day:
8:45 Meet at Fresno State in LOT 'Y' (pick up map and packet at Mountain Home School)Parents MUST purchase a Parking Permit for the day ($3.00).
Permits may be purchased at dispensers or at the Police Department on campus.
9:00 Fresno State Farm Tour
11:00 Bring your own picnic lunch to eat at O'Neill Park
12:00 Visit Fresno State Market. Ice Cream available for purchase

School Pictures coming September 12th and 15th, 8:30am-12pm, click here to print order form
School pictures are coming next week! Michael Jones Photography will be here on Monday, Sept. 12th and Thursday, Sept. 15th from 8:30-12:00. Other family members are welcome to take pictures, as well. Packets will be available for purchase. Free Student I.D.'s will be available upon request only (see order form). Parents can purchase an I.D. card for $5.00.

First attendance due this September 9th by 2pm.
Dear Mountain Home and Glacier High School families,
This is just a friendly reminder that our first month of attendance is due this, Friday September 9th by 2pm. Please remember to sign each line of attendance in either a blue or black pen. Please mark the appropriate boxes for subjects covered each day.

School Kick-Off Night September 8th at 5pm
Students and Families of Mountain Home & Glacier High School,
We welcome you to our School Kick-Off Night!
Where: Mountain Home School & Glacier High School (Oakhurst Campus)
When: Thursday, September 8th
Time: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
We’ll be providing hot-dogs, chips, & drink. Come hear about the school year, meet the staff and our new homeschooling families!
We hope you can join us!
School staff will also host 3, 15-minute “breakout” sessions for parents/students on the following topics: new family question & answer, Internet safety, & school theme start up: “Around the World” showcase days.
**Bring your beach chairs as seating limited.
**Please help us plan by writing your family’s name down on the sign-up sheet with how many will be attending!
